An annual clean is composed of cleaning of the unit and pipe. Based
on the unit, exhaust blower might need removed to be able to acces the exaust path to run a
brush through it. A unit test fire and tune up will be performed after the cleaning is done
to make sure all the components are fully functional.
If the unit needs a cleaning, an annual cleaning will be
performed at no extra charge. During a service call a troubleshoot will be performed.
All components will be tested and a tune-up of the unit will be done aswell. Test fire
will be perfomed after the unit has been fixed to ensure the stove is fully functional
and that there are no other faulty components.
No, parts are an extra cost on top of the service call fee. Not
all units take the same parts, so price will vary. I will be able to give you a quote
for the estimate of the fixing. Please keep in mind that a unit can fail to operate due
to more than one part being bad.
Yes, keep in mind that an extra cost for the mileage and time
will be added to the flat rate service call price.
I am certified to work on Quadrafire pellet and wood stove units, however I do service other brands, aswell I do chimney sweeps.
Most serial numbers start with the numbers 007 followed by more
numbers. If you have a freestanding unit, most likely will be on the back of the unit on
a silver sticker or inside the hopper. If you have an inser unit the sticker will be
inside the body of the units on the right side. Some inserts also have the sticker
inside the hopper.
